NEW PRAGUE, Minn. (AP) — A Minnesota middle school is in lockdown and police are on the scene.
New Prague Mayor Chuck Nickolay confirms a "code red" at the city's middle school Wednesday morning but says he has no other information.
Scott County Sheriff Kevin Studnicka told the Minneapolis Star Tribune that law officers are trying to clear the schools. Studnicka says they've found no one hurt so far.
The Star Tribune reported the lockdown was prompted by a 911 call of an active shooter at the school. Studnicka didn't immediately return calls from The Associated Press.
