    MSG3C Event: Camping @ Mike's Farm

    Date: 5-23-09 & 5-24-09
Time: 9am Sat. to 4pm Sunday
Location: Bloomington, IN (exact address will be PM'ed to attendees)
Cost: $20/Family (to cover costs of porta-potties)

Bloomington area member, longbow, has offered up his farm for a two day camping trip for up to 10 families. The plan is to have a short shooting event first thing on Saturday followed by the setting up of tents around noon. This is all on his property and is a pop-up and tent event only (no campers).

The property is just outside of Bloomington an will offer a fun time for all family members as there will be time to gather around the fire to chat and even some miniature ponies for the little ones to feed and talk to!

Attendees will need to bring all food, eating & camping gear. IT IS VITAL THAT WE LEAVE THE PROPERTY NICER THAN WHEN WE ARRIVED! All gear will be carried in and out on our backs, so keep that in mind when planning.

Space is limited to 10 families, and those interested need to PM me ASAP if interested!

    Attendee List Update:

I'll get some pictures up of the camping areas.

I'm going to give some instructions on chain saw safety so if you want to play you'll need some work shoes and leather gloves unless you don't care wearing mine.

We have space up by the house that could hold two trailers, but it won't feel like camping.

We have some room for a few more. The night sky is very dark. The camping areas are very private.

The fish in the pond will almost jump on your hooks, and the turtles will watch you as you walk on the dam.
