AK47 bolt pin came out

The pin up by the piston rocked itself out after 40 rounds. Anyone have an idea where to find a replacement?

The end is flared a bir so it went in enough to where i could release the bolt but not to were I feel comfortable in reusing it

I know some people have used modified a nail to make a pin.

It's an AK, rub some dirt on it and call it fixed...

In all seriousness though... A dremmel and a 16 penny nail should fix ya.

The nail might be quicker but I will order a oem rivet.

Just install a Tapco piston and then stake the hell out of the threads on both sides of the hole.

Problem solved.

You are right duff it isn't hard at all.

Just doing the rivet should be a snap.

use a ball peen hammer to knock it back in then then hit it with the ball 20 times on each side of pin with something hard(vise anvil) under it and it will be good to go.
