Shot 150 or so "rounds" out of my TM 1911 in my basement after getting home from work tonight. Worked out of the holster, set up some poppers and a plate rack, shot from cover; even pulled up my shot timer app on my iPhone and timed some first shots from holster. And THAT is why I bought a nice GBB airsoft pistol; so I can shoot as many reps as I want, when I want, with something that will tranfer to my carry and "pistol games" 1911s.

Air soft can be valuable training tools. I like to use them for room clearing training with reserve officers and especially in my home. I run through break in scenerios to help the misses, I pity the fool who would kick down her door.

I'm sorry but that's just ridiculous and lame. If they want to play soldiers that badly then might as well join the armed forces!

Ok, that's insulting to our Armed Forces. You don't join the military to "play" at anything. Marines don't play at being Marines.
