I imagine it's got a weak spring, but is there any reason this would be beneficial? I'm not talking "tacti-cool", but in a competition gun?

I could do it with a beat up tokarev but It wasnt consistent. I imagine the red dot helped a bit. Completely useless but kinda fun.

Staccato XC and XL come stock with 7# recoil springs. P and C2 are 10# I believe. Most 2011's are lightly sprung by design. Most air rack videos are 2011 guns. My comped C2 runs 7# spring.

They are ALL 2011's I cannot get my P to do it with the stick spring but had an old STI Recoil Master that was actually pretty easy to do this.

I've seen it in person with a glock. Rob Vogel ain't normal folks though. Low weight recoil spring allows use of light ammo resulting in less recoil/muzzle flip and faster shooting. That's why minimum power factor's a thing in most games.
