If ichoke is not going to be there, then I am hoping there is not going to be any algebra or trig?

screw that baby stuff rhino, start them out with some diff-eq.

I have not yet revealed the actual assignment, but since you asked . . .

We'll be finding a closed-form solution to the full Navier-Stokes equations for a non-steady, multi-phase compressible flow undergoing combustion.

You may feel free to prepare your solution ahead of time and present it to me at the class.

Can I write a program to solve it for me and just bring the source code?

That's actually a pretty good answer.

Look, I'm not interested in numerical solution. Any savage with a PhD in applied math, engineering mechanics, mechanical or chemical engineering could do that.

We looking for an analytical solution. Oh, sure, no one has found one, but that doesn't mean it can't be done, does it? Well, actually it probably does, but that doesn't mean you guys can try.

 I'm still hoping there's no algebra or trig.
The last time I took this class, ichokepeople was present. He knows his stuff when it comes to shooting.
While doing a drill identifying and engaging random numbered targets, fellow students began calling out odd #s only, Prime Numbers, Pi, etc.... in a feeble attempt to trip him up. Turns out, ichokepeople is equally skilled in mathematics.
