I think we used about 1000 rounds of .223 by the end of the shoot. Shame on my for not having my mount on tight even at the beginning.

Did we get a count as far as crowd size?
It seemed like things ran a lot smoother without people bunching up in lines too bad.
Seemed like there were fewer repeat customers at the centerfire position then there were last time, but there were a few.

I'll post a round count when I can get the box in the house without getting soaked.
The kids did pretty good, and all remained safe and though I did have to remind a few about trigger discipline, it wasn't anything to get heartburn over.

Had fun for my first time will be back next year hopefully the wife will be able to help. Did have a kid try to walk off with my keys. luckily the mother caught him before I could yell at him as I was with a child. Can't wait for photos, and finally met this creator called Fenway.

I second Joe's opinion. Went pretty smooth. It seemed as if everyone had a great time! As far as round count, I went through 1k of .22 at my bench alone. Here are a few pics I took during the day.

First time for me. Was kinda a long day, but worth it. I brought a near bran new 10/22. (only fired once @ a 25 yd range) Sights were off at first. Didn't have proper tools to drift the sight over in the dovetail, but I managed to get it closer than it was. Kids were hitting after a while. Will have to do some sighting in before next time. For a guy with old tired eyes, those little spinning targets were SMALL at 50 yds. Really made me thing about putting a scope on it. I was kind of expecting more of a crowd, but the slow pace was just about right for an old cripple like me. We stayed after and shot some more with other guns we brought. After the sun came out it got crazy hot and the Japanese Beetles started swarming. So glad it was in the 70s and overcast for the youth day part at the start. Perfect weather. I think it was a fun thing for the community. Glad to be a part of it. I'll be there next year.

Give the guy a break. He worked hard. And his wife was there to make sure he didn't slack off.
