    It's a way for the state to get money now that it would normally have to wait a couple decades to get. Probably good for the child...not so much for the state conservation budget in 20 years.

    I asked a CO about this last month when my daughter and I completed the hunter safety education course. His opinion was that we would never see it again in IN. Definitely a bummer, my hunting partner has his lifetime and I didn't have the money to pay for one when they were offering them back in the mid/late 90's. I'd jump on it in a heartbeat today.
