One of my former Saber fencing students is a very talented student in addition to doing a nice job of threatening opponents with a 3' metal stick. She happens to be a student at Lawrence University in Wisconsin and does a lot of stuff with the theatre department.

Lawrence University's Theater of the Air put on some old style radio plays and they are available for your listening pleasure.

Free for the listening. Light a fire in the fireplace, dim the lights, suspend your disbelief and enjoy the radio plays.

I've listened to Radio Classics on Sirius/XM for years. There is 30+ years of this stuff. I've learned so much and had thousands of hours of entertainment.

Here is the one that started it all for me.

The Phil Harris and Allice Faye Show.

Escape, Suspense, Gunsmoke, Jack Benny, Bob Hope, The Green Hornet, Superman, and many more.

Podcast will be a great source for these.

This is probably one of, if not my favorite of all time. It's called "The Earth Abides" staring John Dehner.

Here's a throwback. A few years ago, I sent in a request to Radio Classics for my birthday. Here it is being answered.

We listed to a couple of the SciFi Radio Plays out at the fire pit while roasting marshmallows and making s’mores.

Great way to spend some time with the family. Everyone enjoyed it.

Ray Bradbury’s The Velt was my favorite.
