Does anyone have any information on this stuff? Boxes are marked 5.55 FNH SS92. Head stamps show 71, assuming 1971. Google isn’t turning up much on this stuff.

5.55? Probably the same as .222 Rem.

It’s probably one of those odd ball rounds that may end up giving you trouble. I’ll step up for a fellow member and safely take them off your hand; and I will not charge a disposal fee.

Sounds like the same stuff. 60-rd boxes, 77 headstamp vs your 71 (maybe yours is also 77?). Seems to be fairly high quality, according to those guys. And they say SS92 is the FN term for M193, 55gr bullet.
