    I'll be sticking with the .380. I learned that Force is equal to Mass multipled by Velocity.

    So when a hot .380 is double the mass and velocity of a .22 magnum, it seems like a simple choice for me. :yesway:

    I carry a Ruger LCP .380. Nothing wrong with a .22 mag i guess it is totally up to each individual on what they like or can handle.

    Good topic! I might just be lucky to this point, but I have never had a FTF with a .380 cartridge and have had plenty with rimfire ammo. That said I like the .22 magnum round, but if it came down to defending my life, like others have said here, I would go with a centerfire firing handgun/round
