I asked permission to gift a set of these to avoid any infringements, and was given permission to see if there is any interest from the membership.

So, this is just to gauge interest.
I work a full-time job so, this would be done in my spare time.

If you would be interested, raise your hand.

    Well, there's a little interest.

    So, what material is preferred?
I would like to keep it simple for machining proficiency. Maybe do two or three sets at one time.

I would like to keep these INGO only grips, and I would like to donate a percentage back to the site.
( for future reference... I can add any image that can be vectorized and fit the space )

I plan to run a set this weekend, and I'll post a pic of the finished grips.

    As promised.
Not the greatest pic (I'm not a photographer).

These are fresh off the machine. They haven't been finished yet, and they will get a grey color fill.
These are from Corian, since I have a LOT of it, and I happened to have some 1/4". These would be nice in a hardwood.

I will edit with a pic of the finished, color filled grips, when I complete them.

I'd like to see some wood looking grips like you posted in the original post. Maybe high polished gnarled maple grips with INGO logo?

Are you referring to Maple Burl?
If so, I would like to find a source that doesn't require another mortgage.

I cut trees for firewood. I've ran into maple chunks like that. If I run into some more ill take a picture and you can see if you are interested. It's usually in gnarled trees I find it. How thick would it need to be?

For rough sawn, it would need to be 1/2" to have enough meat to flatten it. If it's green, probably thicker to componsate for shrinking and warping.

Okay so 2-3" way to big I guess? I don't trust my sawing to be precise so it would be a thicker chunk. You can take care of the detailed work :) I'm working on an old maple now so if I run across a nice piece I'll send you a PM.

2-3" is fine. I can resaw it into thinner pieces. Maybe even get a bookmatched set from it.

After 254 views, I think this has run it's course.

I have a gentleman, that is wanting several sets. So that will keep me busy for a minute.
Any further interest, just message me.

A set that's on the machine presently.
    Being cut from Amboyna Burl.
