Last Friday, this member sent me a PM looking for my interest in buying a S&W M&P 9mm. I asked a few questions. He gave me a price. I countered and he accepted. We set a tentative time and place to meet.
On Saturday, he sent a PM and said he wasn't going to sell.
Late on Saturday, he said that he felt ashamed when he read a post from my son describing the episode as 'bad form'. He offered to sell the pistol afterall.
I thought about the new offer and decided to take a chance and accept it. When I logged on mid-day Sunday, he had already sent me a message and said he decided not to sell.
I can't begin to guess what is going on with this young man, but I don't have to become involved with him again and I offer this message to others on the board to be cautious with this individual until he re-establishes a pattern of acceptable buyer/seller behavior.
