I have to wonder how much chaos this will engender? And how much spillover will we in Indiana see when they have to stop paying their cops. Will they have to close down the prisons and release those incarcerated? Guess we'll have to wait and see just how bad it gets. My guess is they'll go crazy...
Could this be the thing we predicted months ago, wherein Barry's supporters and confidantes will start splitting from him and speaking out to provide evidence against him? What with the US Rep questioning his eligibility, I have to wonder "What's next?"
Please note that I post this story to...
My mom's cousin who lived in Illinois passed away recently. He had a small collection of firearms that his sister did not want. I contacted the local Sheriff's department and received an informative and useful set of instructions as to how to legally transport the guns back to Indiana. We...
Or do you need to have a FOID ? I've been thinking of going across the state line to look for some since its only about 5 minutes away maybe at a walmart.
Get a load of this. Dan Proft or Bill Brady seem to be up to par on gun rights. The rest support gun control, or have such a weak understanding of gun rights that they "need more details" about a semi-automatic gun ban.
Pat Quinn is the incumbent governor.
Dont know if this goes here, but here it is.
Your on your way out west to a big long rang and handgun shoot, you have many long guns and a few handguns each locked-up and put away in the toolbox of your pick-up, the ammo is in ammo cans on the floor of the bed. Now you get in a wreck, your ammo...

Surely the slain officer would be alive if we had another law on the books.
What defines a "gang member" under this ambiguous law? Perhaps the only criteria is that you own a gun.
Hypothetically...Say I have a sister who, say lives in the Joliet area of Illinois. Also, hypothetically, say that she has an A**hole of an ex who is about one bad day from stripping all of his sanity gears and going postal from the divorce. Also, say that this Ex is a Chicago correctional...
IL really outdoes itself some times:
Ill. town criticized for giving officers their old guns
So.... I guess we can't even trust LEO's with guns after all? Like when they go to work to save people like Mr. Goodman day after day?

It's bad enough you have to disarm to go to that s-hole, now you have to take everything off your windscreen. Got a small mirror to watch the kids in back? Maybe a radar detector? Or a GPS? Well, that all the excuse the boys in blue over there need to pull you over, ticket you and begin their...
I know there is no legal way for me to go to his range to shoot with him, but can you guys think of a way he could join me for a day at a range here? It would make for a fun time if we could find a way.Maybe we just need to go to the Supercross instead?
The Illinois Supreme Court just ruled that storing guns in your console counts is a valid way to transport unloaded guns. Not sure if this applies for out-of-staters, but it is a step forward.
David Codrea looks at the People's Republic of Illinois and their dislike of self defence.

Read the rest of this at the source. David makes some good points and will continue to look at it tomorrow.
As most of you know, Illinois does not accept any other states handgun licenses/permits. That being said, knowing you would be breaking the law, would you still carry in Illinois? You have to ask yourself if your livelihood is more valuable to you than following the rules.
I don't expect many...
Remember, the term "sex offender" covers a LOT more than was originally intended. Get busted for making out with your girlfriend in the park? No INGO for you. :nono:

I will be heading to my college roommate's wedding, unfortunately located in Illinois, this Saturday and was wondering if there is a blade length restriction for Illinois. I would like to take my Spyderco, but it may be a little large. I will have my carry gun, unloaded and locked in the trunk...
