      WTS/WTT: Glock 22 Gen 2

Glock 22 Gen 2 for sale or trade. One magazine included. I had originally gotten this for a project gun, but decided I liked the finger grooves and will be looking for a gen 3 or 4 frame. It's in decent shape, but obviously used with some holster wear. Need to present LTCH on receipt. NW Indy...

      Body armor for wife

Didn't mean to come off snippy. Had a meeting with an annoying project manager. Best not to post when annoyed with a PM. Here is a link to the training EAG Tactical Definitely something I hope we'd never have to use for real. But better to have it and not need it... and all that.

      Body armor for wife

The particular shoot house training in question is ran by Pat Rogers. I'll let you decide if you think it is improperly ran. It requires level 3 or 4 plates. I don't particularly care if someone doesn't think it is necessary. I am seeing if anyone has actual pertinent advice with real world...

      Body armor for wife

Looking to get some armor for the wife. I want to do some training with her with armor as well as eventually some shoot houses, but want her to have her own armor and kit rather than borrow/rent so she is familiar with it. Anyone out there that have recommendations for armor or plate carriers...

Dick's Black Friday - Two Steals!

Yeah, the 1099 tag was on mine. They didn't have anything up to indicate it was 799.

Dick's Black Friday - Two Steals!

I walked out of the Dicks in Lafayette at about noon today with one of the Troy ARs, last one they had as the floor model. Sweet little AR, my wife loves it already. I almost felt like I was stealing from them.

      Interesting Convo with Guardsmen.

I know the guys in my old unit would turn around and drop their pants to such an order. I also know other military personnel that have gone on the record for saying they'd have no problem going door to door to disarm the American people. There are those that are more akin to mercenaries than...

      funniest thing wife/GF said?

My wife's friend asked her what we would do in a zombie apocalypse (don't really remember the context). My wife replied "We would grab our shotguns and have a heyday"

      Back up gun

If I was going to carry a back up gun, it'd be on the same platform and capable of using the same magazines (or at the very least same caliber) as my primary. It'd also be a place that is easy to get to from my non-dominant shooting hand, in case it is disabled. Seems to make the most sense to me.

Deputy attempts to justify seizing LTC handguns during traffic stop

If a LEO asks if you are carrying in a traffic stop, are you legally bound to answer him?

      Gun Truck

I bolted a small safe in the center console of my car. It wouldn't probably stop someone determined enough with a long crowbar and hammer, but better than nothing. It holds my commuter gun, since I can't carry at work.

.22lr at 250 yards **video and picture**

The farthest I've pushed my savage mark II is about 275 yards. Love hearing the steel ring at that range with a .22. I also need to get a better scope for further out there with mil-dots.
