I have had an M16 that I have carried daily since 2002 when I shipped for Iraq, never had a single problem with this pocket knife, I would recommend to anyone without reservations.
I will take a guess at why. Because he didn't make me stand outside of my vehicle while running my info on the side of a narrow road in the middle of the night, which I would have been slightly upset about regardless of how flat the land is or how bright his lights are I would rather be inside...
Actually as an Infantry guy I have never keep a full magazine in the 17 years I have been in, I have a 10 round magazine with 9 +1 in the chamber, when he handed it back all 10 were in the mag.
Just an idea I dont know that it would work, We used to use jewelers rouge and a dremel on our buttons for blues inspections in the Army, would the same thing apply for polishing up a barrel or guide rod?
SFC with 17 years of active duty between 2 branches here and still counting, and a recruiter now. I agree with most here if your going to be deployed leave your personal weapons at your parents. If you are stateside and have them they will have to be locked up in the company arms room where you...
Read my opening statement, he saw my pink card, and asked if I was carrying. Do you think I'm going to lie to him and say no? I had to tell him where it was.
on a back ass county road it's dark besides his lights why would he have reason to do anything less than do what he feels is safe for him as well? He didn't keep my weapon I got it back in what I consider a proper and only way to handle weapons, he didn't make me stand on the side of a dark...
Did I cross the center line? Sure did. I don't argue that 1 bit. What warrants a +1 regardless of what everyone is saying here he was professional and didn't act as a jackwagon like I see on here so many times people complaining about. You can have your own opinion of officers and how they react...
So your at the range, someone or even your buddy shooting next to you asks to see the difference between A pistol vs. B pistol your going to tell him ask someone else? I see people on here recommending that exact thing all the time when "which gun should I get" topic comes up.
I guess I don't really see the issue. Yes he removed it from my truck, of which I don't mind I see it as a safety call on the officer. Then he returned to me unloaded. Do you hand your weapon to anyone loaded? First thing you do is remove the magazine and clear it prior to letting someone handle...
Tonight on my way home I was traveling down a back county rd when lights came on behind me. I pull over to the shoulder roll down my window keeping both hands on the wheel since my EDC is tucked half under the arm rest of my truck. State officer comes up and asks for my license, of course it's...
As a full time recruiter for the Guard I agree with warriorbob. At the gun shows they allow the public coming in to have guns but not loaded. On daily business there we are not allowed personal firearms in the armory. I keep mine in the truck center console while my pov in is the parking lot.
