i would call them and complain if i were you
CRKT is not always "great customer service". I had the pocket-clip screws back out of my Ken Onion Ripple folder. I have been waiting for replacement screws since Sept.11th. It is now Nov.14th! Their parts dept. will not respond to my e-mail. Their customer service dept. said: "sorry, srews are on back order". So I guess I'll have to wait a few more months for the proper screws to fix the knife. I'm not happy!

Update on CRKT service: The missing screws for my Ripple Knife that I odered on Sept.11, 2011 are still "on back order". It is now Jan.11, 2012. I'm thinking I will not buy anything from CRKT again. Other than that, I'm having a nice day!

I have had an M16 that I have carried daily since 2002 when I shipped for Iraq, never had a single problem with this pocket knife, I would recommend to anyone without reservations.
