T/C, the last I knew, were being manufactured under the Smith & Wesson brand.
So, S&W bought them out, and realized it wasn't a good fit for them?
Should have stuck to what was the T/C bread and butter.
That would be the Contender and Encore lines.
T/C was purchased by S&W because they wanted their barrel factory. They had been offering the name for sale for years now but no one bit due to having to honor the lifetime guarantee on all the previously made items.

I would doubt the sale would include the barrel line since that is what S&W wanted in the first place.

At the last 1500 the honcho from Acme Machine was very vague, but said to keep an eye out for news late April.

Never heard anything on that. Just remember JS was a big TC sponsored Guy so that’s why I wondered. Business is business if they are on the outs.

He was a big Knight guy before he was a big TC guy, lol. JS has to be pushing 70 and was scaling back the hunting even before his wife passed so I doubt there's much interest either way.

Yeah I followed him then when Knight started fading TV became the go to. I believe most of his ML records were with Knights stuff.

My Wife got a kick out of watching the segments with his Dad and Father in Law!
