Sorry to bring this thread back. Is anybody using and endplate with the QDs on the side. Yes, they're ambidextrous, which could be a PITA, but I think the sling point hanging in front of the grip instead of the side could be crazy too.

I prefer the ones that have 2 mounting spots / one on each side of the rifle, like Knights Armament or LWRC. The rifle seems to hang more evenly on them.

I like the Tactical Link attachment point for my single point sling - easy installation - works well with their single point bungee sling.

    Necro post, I know.
I was looking in to better end plate QD attachments and came across this thread.

I go back-and-forth with #phylo and #jollymon (btw, a loss to ingo that he's no longer onthe boards) conversation regarding rear sling attached to the end plate vs stock. Transitioning right to left is a little issue. I find a bigger difference to be when going to pistol. attaching at the end plate leaves the rifle higher, and the stock in your face/chin with movement. But pretty much everything else is in favor of the end played attachment. I go back and forth.

I'll admit that I kinda game it if im doing 2 gun and decide based on what the stage calls for.

Probably a conversation for another thread but it seemed to start here?

    Necro-post for sure.

I don't use the MI brand QD end plates anymore.

I have a Noveske on my Noveske and a couple of the Fortis QD end plates. Unusual design with the Fortus. You wouldn't think it would stay in place, but so far, so good. It you don't trust it, go with their newer locking design.
