I understand what you are laying down. I hold Christian leaders to higher level. Yes they are Humans and subject to sin. But not evildoers I think there’s a difference.

I did not mean Christians are the majority of evil people

I have another question IMO some humans are pure evil not sinners. IMO they cannot have salvation because of the evil deeds they have committed?

Here me out Satan has already taken their souls they cannot receive salvation. There is no god that would let the BTK killer John Wayne Gasey ect into the kingdom of heaven.
Where in the bible does it say that we have the power to decide who God will, or will not forgive, if they seek it?
Are you saying that there is sin with even greater power than God?

I believe there are sinners, and of them some are very evil and wicked. However all men can repent and be saved. The Calvinist doctrine holds no water in scripture. “God isn’t willing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” Calvinism believes Christ only died for those already chosen. There is no Bible for that, only wrong interpretation and I don’t know how they came up with that and can’t see the error.

By the way Paul persecuted the church jailing Christians of which many I assume died or later executed. What a heavy heart and burden Paul must of had, calling himself the chief of all sinners.

    I appreciate the input.

I think satan has already collected the souls of truly evil humans and they are no longer human and in the grace of God.

The sinner may have committed evil acts I believe they are still in the grace of God.

I have no power to judge any one of there sins I am not stating that.

The example in my view is a human that committed murder during a crime. The human repented and ask's forgiveness God would grant forgiveness.

Some humans have pledge their souls to evil and have no path to heaven?

Sometimes we have to separate what we feel is logical to our finite brains and square that with what God laid out to us in scripture.

What you said does make sense in some ways. Some people do seem like they’re too far gone, but you won’t find that in scripture. So then we have to decide what to do with that information. Are we mistaken? Or is God mistaken?

The Bible is full of people who would be too far gone for today’s standard. Ironically, that is who He usually uses to fulfill His will.

    Moses - murderer
    David - rapist, murderer
    Paul - accessory to murder

David never raped, though some have been trying to prove he did. He did not. He seduced and committed adultery. Rape was never there with Bathsheba. Messengers were sent to take her, take her where? To David’s palace. Then says she went in onto him. This was free will in her part to enter and see him. She also could have yelled rape according to scripture, not doing so means there is no rape. Other scriptures in the Bible do use rape to describe rape indeed. This is not the case with David. Plus we don’t know what the messengers said to her and does not say they took her by force. She willingly went in to him, she did not cry out rape.

IMO, that’s a lot of inferring that isn’t in scripture.

Given the power dynamics between the two of them and the meaning of the Hebrew word took, lāqaḥ, I don’t see her having any choice in the matter at all.

But I’ll put an asterisk with David for unity’s sake.

David - Murder. Adultery with a woman who may or may not have consented.

Now, this is, IMHO, certainly on-topic! We should hold Christian leaders to higher standards, and I think there is biblical support for doing so, in that they are shepherds, and that they are subject to greater temptation.

I did not mean Christians are the majority of evil people
Understood. Perhaps the original question was worded inadvertently.

I believe that the Bible teaches that any soul this side of physical death can be redeemed. I believe that all sin is equal in God's eyes, in that all sin separates us spiritually form relationship with Him - and that the punishment for all sin was satisfied on the Cross.

Is it likely that someone fully given over to evil will be saved? Maybe not. But while that person yet lives, hope of salvation remains.

Romans chapter 1:28 talks about God gave them over to a depraved, reprobate, debased, and several other translations of what I think you are talking about.

Also notice in Revolution that God is pouring out His wrath upon the sinners, none repeated, and cursed God instead.

A simple question I have is that if God gives someone over to a reprobate mind, can they be redeemed?
Reprobation is very serious, and what qualifies it. It’s not backsliding, or growing cold. Redemption in Christ is always there. But how does one accept it, if it was accepted and then you turn against it?

Such was the case for Judas was it not. For while Peter was weak, and denied the Lord, he wept tears of repentance afterwards. Judas has the testimony that afterwards he rather kill himself than repent.

So we have to be careful with who is a reprobate. From my own experience I have met some, some have even admitted it which to me was unbelievable since they were still going to church! But that’s where some live, even blending in.

Reprobation to me is the final act. But I may have the meaning not accurate. But there is a time when you have experience it all, and choose to fall away, now twice dead. IMG_4005.jpeg

I haven't studied them together. But Romans 1:28 seems to have echos of Exodus 9:12.
"And the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not listen to them, just as the LORD had spoken to Moses."

If anyone has delved into these passages and their similarities, please comment.

Good question I've seen different comments from well learned Bible scholars on this subject. Then I have my own take as well.
I'll look it up and see if I can refresh myself on this scripture.

I always thought such hypotheticals were silly, philosophical navel-gazing.
    And you would be right.

Anyhoo, after I figure out of the other mysteries of what God being infinite means, I'll get right on that. Or maybe I'll simply trust what God says about Himself in his Word and trust what's not there is not there for a reason.
