One of the shipping terminals above Key Bridge is the largest container terminal on the East coast.
Taking the prize for the largest port on the East Coast, the Port of New Jersey and New York handles over 7.4 million containers annually. Noteworthy for its diverse cargo, this port is home to the Port Authority Marine Terminal and plays an important role in the region's economic activity.

Yea was just reading about that there. Sure ol pete buttplug will be out there to get it rolling. Makes me wonder what kinds impact our bridges down here on the Ohio can take? I know some barges have hit them before
Looks like you need to look both ways before crossing the bridge.

Wow, just woke up to this.
Accident, terrorism or diversity, hire pilot?
Looks like the ship lost power more than once heading towards the bridge. It impacted one of the center span uprights and a large part of the center of the bridge collapsed.
Now reports are saying at least 7 in the water.

Glad my wife doesn't have any containers going into Baltimore!

This is going to F up and already fragile supply chain...
The Port of New York and New Jersey is the largest container port on the East Coast of the United States.

Were there any Mothman reported sightings prior to the Francis Scott Key bridge collapsed?
Baltimore is point-to-point, less than 300 miles from Point Pleasant West Virginia.

You dont say? I  never would have guessed that...

You should have inferred from my post my wife works in this industry so I'm pretty well versed in it.

You think NY/NJ (and truckers there) can easily handle Baltimore's goods on top of their own? The only saving grace is with the Red Sea BS, a lot of companies have rerouted away from there...
