They sure do. Also, our flagpole isn't one solid piece of tubing/metal. Once, we had so much wind that it actually separated like a damn javelin into my neighbor's yard. Luckily, no one or nothing was hurt.

That school isn't to far from where I live.

The BIGGEST problem with school board members these days is that 90% of them have no kids. Laws need to dictate that you must have kids and better yet be in school. This would probably change the way the places are ran.

Eh before I had kids i used to watch the school board stuff closely. Cause they always try to put forth the referendums on taxes that would affect me. They should at least declare a party... the cornoer has too. But then again our own state republican party acts like democrats half the time

I dont know how the high-schools do the young adults down south, but here in knox,the school charges the young people that drive to pay a parking permit fee. I thought that was some bs. The last 2 years they just finished a $17million addition on the high-school.

Yea thats definitely bs. Especially since that parking lot was already paid for with taxes . Our local joke of school system has opened and closes and reopens 2 different elementary. Now the one they closed theyre gonna reopen again .. always asking for more money.

My box of 100 car flags are in from Walmart.com. Just got off the phone with the news station who said they would get me in contact with the reporter... I'm guessing they either can't give out the info of a minor, or they want to make a big deal out of this as well...

Forest Park High School in Dubois County charged us students to park, and we were subject to random drug and alcohol screenings if you bought the parking pass.

I know parent were pissed about that stuff but of course at places it was all talk. What's in a persons car is no business of anyone else.

Years ago, a police dog alerted at my daughter's vehicle in the school parking lot when they were checking out vehicles. They searched the vehicle, left everything a mess, and didn't find anything. No apologies.

I would have been pissed.

I had a buddy that had his vehicle searched because they could see a .22 shell on the floor board of the family's farm truck that he drove to school one day. So apparently they had somebody just walking around the parking lot all day just looking in student's vehicles.

And therein lies the failure. The freaking school administration is worrying about looking for a .22 shell on a work truck floor parked in a parking lot, while psychotic drug taking mentally ill are getting passes..
