I raised two sons who are gentlemen. One father showed my elder son his shotgun and my boy offered to help him clean it. My son was in more danger from the daughter than she was from him. That relationship didn't last long. Thank God.

Boys should be raised to respect women; they learn by example of what they see at home. End of sermon.

BTW, they are both married to women who are very different from each other, but each is beautiful and wonderful in her own way.
Exactly I would expect dads warn their sons of crazy women also.

If that is your idea of a joke, I would never let my son associate with you or your family in any way.

    So…3 stories
1st, the youngest daughter invited a boy over, I retreated to my room the leave them alone, a little while later my neighbor knocked on the door, in his hand is a pump shotgun, he said “the follower is stuck” I invited him in and sat down on the floor popped the barrel off, took a look and said “leave it with me, I’ll fix it for ya” (I swear to god, this was unplanned!)

That night as I’m driving the boy home he just blurts out “mr shootersix are you some kind of gun expert?” I replied “kinda, I have a few, and know a little, I work in a gun shop helping people pick the right gun, bullets or suppressor”…his reply was “oh ok”

    2nd
I picked my other daughter up from her job, she asks “can we go pick up so and so?” I said sure, we get home, they get out of the car and walk in, I go to the trunk and grab my ar15 (I’d taken it to the gun shop to tighten up a loose barrel nut) and by the time I walk in they’re sitting on the couch, out of the corner of my eye I see a white flash, I take a glance over and see these two whit eyes, as big as dinner plates…my work is done!

    3rd
I had to work (at the gun shop) the day of my daughters (twin girls) prom, they decided to eat at the Chinese restaurant one of the girls work at, and it was on my way home do I stopped to see them, now mind you I never open carry…and the only time I ever did was at the gun shop…but when I walked in the restaurant, I had forgotten to untuck my shirt!…my daughter pointed that out…and que the “slow deliberate action of my untucking my shirt to cover my gun!”

Nothing says loving dad like threatening to rape your daughter's date.

    Y'all are weird.

    :):
Yep, if one of my sons came home and told me some of whats posted above happened to one of them, shortly we would have a conversation on their front porch.

Too many fish in the sea to worry about one whose dad decides who he dates and whether he's mature enough to handle a father protecting his daughter. You can't protect them forever and you shouldn't try after a certain age. You'll stunt their growth.

I have a great sense of humor, what isn't humorous is ****ing with an adolescent in that manner.
this is a joke as old as man.… which one did you find super offensive? The guy that said he would do whatever to the kid that the kid did to his daughter? That’s the only story I’ve read on here that is kind of questionable but saying it in a joking manner…. Basically says don’t do anything which depending on the childrens age….. maybe doing nothing is the best thing that could happen to them.

Dont forget the rope, quicklime duct tape and black trashbags. LOL

I once bought almost everything to bury a body all at once without realizing it. That was awkward.
What precisely, is required to bury a body? And, why was it awkward, if you didn't realize it?

    Asking for a friend.

How is that "protecting his daughter"...please be specific. I have a 15 year old daughter.

I would like to understand how implying you will murder a minor is acceptable.
