I am not understanding the point. We should advocate for removing all laws from the books that are not currently enforced?
Point is you don't see homosexuals, or those living in, or committing acts of adultery reacting the same way as this person over old laws that aren't being enforced.

I was actually waiting on him/her to reply.

My grand mother certainly had many features and we were always told that was also in our linage but I don’t know for sure. At 99 she was laid to rest with but a few gray hairs…

I think as was mentioned earlier there was a lot of intermarriage between Cherokees and whites, hence the joke about 1 Indian.

P.S. - In actuality she is the most caring, loving person I know. But if it involves the kids or grandkids it is fight on.

I watched the video posted about the book. The interview was completely racist anti-white/rural/male.

My question is how do you get a thing like this published? I mean if I invest my capital in a publishing business I would expect to only print things that will sell for a profit. I would fire any editor that accepted any trash like this simply because it is alienating at least 3/4 of the potential customers despite the BS content.

You have the mistaken assumption that there is a visible profit motive behind the scenes, there often is not. Take books promoting gun control, likely no profit in the traditional sense that they made a book they sold to the public for financial gain. So then how do they get published? Funded by the likes of Bloomberg or Soros.

They were paid monthly by rank and some received land for serving. Why would solders get reparations?
OK, Why would ANYONE 200 years removed with absolutely NO Ancestral or blood connection to any slaves from Africa get reparations?
Without the blood & deaths of Union Soldiers the slaves would have NEVER achieved Freedom.

Because some random dude decided he wanted to be allowed to scam people and leveraged identity politics to pocket other people's money.

It's really no more complex than that. If we didn't teach history, no one would even know of slavery, which is why it's completely ridiculous for anyone to use it as a justification for anything 200 years later.

All of our ethnicities have been a victim to slavery, genocide attempts, and all manner of discrimination. It's patently absurd anyone thinks their ethnicity is more important than anyone else's. Unless there are serious differences between ethnic groups, which is opening a can of worms I doubt anyone really wants to open.

My blood line wasn't even in this country until 1908, it's completely ridiculous to blame me for anything relating to something before that time.

As a rural person I’m just thankful that we provide almost all of the energy, infrastructure, transportation and food this country runs on. Who knows what they would do to us if they didn’t need us.

Oh and we are armed to the teeth that helps too.
My Dad occasionally told me this when I was growing up: "the country can survive without the city's but the city's can't survive without the country."
