US warned allies about Russian space, nuclear capabilities, source says — Reuters
The United States has told Congress and allies in Europe about new intelligence related to Russian nuclear capabilities that could pose an international threat, a source briefed on the matter told Reuters on Wednesday.
I'm not sure what the Russia warnings are about, but in Putin's recent interview with Tucker, he makes a decent case...Seems like a good place for this.

The United States has told Congress and allies in Europe about new intelligence related to Russian nuclear capabilities that could pose an international threat, a source briefed on the matter told Reuters on Wednesday.
I duck ducked it and read about a dozen or so stories from different news agencies around the world. If the gossip and speculation is to be believed, it concerns the Russians parking a nuke in space. Either to take out our military communications abilities or possibly to explode above the earth for what ever reason they may have. Nothing can be confirmed, but apparently more of our congress critters will be holding more meetings tomorrow.
History does not repeat, but it does rhyme.
On the Sunday prior to 9/11, there was a mass predeployment briefing held at Grissom ARB. Our unit was preparing to send several tankers and a couple hundred airmen to France, in support of NATO operations over Bosnia. We listened to different speakers provide details on the mission, medical, logistics, funding, lodging, comms, intel and security, etc.
The security briefer talked about keeping our heads on a swivel, because there was a lot of background chatter among certain terrorist groups. He did not have any specifics, but felt like something big was about to happen. A few days later, we all got the answer.
Twenty-three years later, here we are again...

As noted above, I wrote to my Sheriff in Boone county. Both Sheriff Harris and his Chief Deputy Beard responded.
Sheriff Harris response was:
Sheriff Harris has been to the border with the Indiana Sheriffs Association. Chief Deputy Beard confirmed the border is as bad as "we" think.
He also stated the department is looking into a training course "When Disaster Strikes: Prepare, Act, Survive" and have found one that will be hosted in the state of Indiana in June. Boone county Sheriff's department will be organizing a team to go attend the training.
Sheriff Harris response was:
"I was not in DC for the NSA Conference.
With this said I was contacted on Friday by a concerned citizen with questions on Sheriff Jones out of Butler Co Ohio. She also wanted to know what Boone County’s plan was and would we be sharing that training like Butler Co. It looks like he is following some training from Texas A&M engineering. I will be following up on it as well. I will keep you posted on what I find out.
Sheriff Jones is receiving the same information we are from the government with the “Imminent Threat” but we are receiving very little follow up information from the government.
We should be worried and watching this as our boarders are completely open and these cells from other countries are coming in. No doubt some of them intend to do harm to our country.
I have cc’d my Chief Deputy Mike Beard on this email as both are following it and we also plan on starting our citizens academy back up to share information about this as well as information about the entire Sheriff’s Office. We will keep you posted sir. Thank you for reaching out!

This is how you shutdown a modern country for years and kill the majority of the population without stepping foot in the country. (starvation, etc) or creating a health hazard of nuclear radiation that might drift into friendly nations.
2 or 3 nuclear blasts over head and everything electronic is destroyed. Most of our power grid will be destroyed and the transformers and whatnot will need to be replaced. Any idea how long it will take to build and import millions of transformers of all shapes and sizes? And we cant build them here because our grid will be down and industry immobilized.
In the meantime money doesnt move. There is no refrigeration to keep food and meds stable. The only thing on the road will be old cars with distributor caps and older diesels. Which wont run for long because we cant pump the fuel out of the underground tanks.
But I think this is just posturing and scare tactics in the run up to the election.
At least until Russia thinks that we are irrelevant and the rest of the world can survive without the northwestern hemisphere. They'd probably roll over AK and into Canada for oil knowing we couldnt do anything about it.

If it happens and you rely on electricity for life saving things like oxygen, dialysis, or other things that actively keep you out of the grave, you'll be the lucky ones. It wont be any fun to live past 2 weeks after.
