Well, I may regret it but I made the switch from Verizon to T-mobile. Motivating factors were largely my dad's phone stopped working and my son's was in it's death throes (only charging via wireless and the screen is shattered). Despite being with Verizon since December of 2005, they basically told me to suck a big ol' wienie on replacing them on anything approaching the terms new customers would get.

The number of plans and which deals qualify for which plan was rather difficult to parse out on the website alone. I could figure out which Tab A went in to Slot B but wasn't sure I was getting the best option for me so I did the thing I hate to do. I went shopping in person. Like in public around other people. Folks at the T-mobile store couldn't have been more helpful. They got me in a $800 in gift cards I didn't know I qualified for, and laid out the options for which phones went with the plan very simply. I ended up getting 4 5G phones with no trade ins, paying sales tax only on 3 of them and paying the extra to upgrade one. Can't fault their customer service at all, very nice folks at the local store.

MAde the switch 3 years ago from ATT. I had been a customer since 1998 with the same number and provider (Cellular One, to Cingular to ATT). Service had gotten so bad we couldnt' get a signal at a rest stop in southern indiana. ATT didn't care that I'd been a customer for 20 years. They were about to jack my rates yet again.

We've had T-mobile now with better service, lower cost and even got the 5G home tower which is sooooooo much better than the old DSL we were paying $76 for and had 5Mbps download speed and 0.5 up.

We switched from Sprint to T-Mobile 5ish years ago, zero complaints.

We've thought about switching to someone else but I refuse to pay more than necessary for a damn cell phone...so T-Mobile it is!

I think we're at $120ish a month for two phones.

Went from Verizon to T Mobile to ATT. Where I live there was no cell service period. I was happy with that because to reach me, people had to call my land line. Since I spend a lot of time out on the property......I never heard the phone ring.

Unfortunately, they put in an ATT tower south of town and work phones are ATT service :(

Last summer up here in the Great white north T-Mobile had zero service for a week straight. Their only answer was to restart the phones until they worked.
Friends cam to visit for about a week from Detroit. They have T-Mobile also, they couldn't get service until they were back home.

Fwiw... I use Consumer Cellular (MVNO w ATT) for my 2 sons and have been quite happy with their cs. Service is regular ATT and the monthly fees are great. If you are a regular ATT user, it's hard not to pay less for the same network service with better customer service.

We switched to mint a couple of years ago. It's $15/line for 5 gigs of data/month now and runs off tmobile

It's a solid deal if it works for you, it's just not enough data for our use. My son is the biggest user, especially when he travels for work, but there's months we use close to 80GB.

There are unlimited plans, and plans that run off other networks.

I think people generally like them (mvno in general), especially if you are ok with your current coverage. The biggest downsides are that there's less customer service, generally bring your own phone, and you may get slowed for their actual customers (which I haven't experienced personally)

Been with TMobile for about 8 years now? I switched because they had the best over 55 plan around, and still do. Been paying 60 bucks total (tax and fees included) for 2 phones for all that time. They do not have my plan any longer and they keep nudging me to upgrade the plan.

Service is good, no probs at all.

Went to T-Mobile from Verizon almost ten years/ 3 iPhones ago. Got 2 lines unlimited everything for $60 and hasn't gone up any for any reason. 5G coverage is good in and around most populated areas, 4G is not bad when conditions require it and customer service is excellent

Only quirk I ever found was right after we switched we were up around Traverse and the YooPee and there were areas where they piggy backed on ATT towers but data was throttled. That got fixed a couple of years later

Been with ATT since 93. Getting ready to switch to either Pure Talk or Patriot Mobile. Interested to hear if any have experience with them.

I've been using Patriot Mobile for a couple of years now and have been pretty happy with them. I don't remember my plan, only that I pay around $35/mo. I recommend them.

I left T-Mobile because they kept lying to me about service at my house. They shutdown a tower close to my home without a word, when I contacted them they gave me the runaround for almost 2 months about my phones and switching settings and finally an employee at the local T-Mobile told me about them dropping the tower and told me that if I wanted service where I lived I'd have to switch to another company

I tried their internet and liked it. I had it for a few days and when I asked them how to get my $150 rebate they gave me a runaround, said that deal was gone. I cancelled after 3 days. The contacted me and said the deal was back on and if I wanted to signup again, I’d get the rebate. I said not at this time.

Set up was super easy. Speeds were about (avg) 140 download and 15 upload….with a VPN and “almost” doubled that when off VPN. I have comcast now (internet only) and pay only $20 more for speeds between 500 and 700 D/L. I truly do not need that speed but I am not ready to go back to T-Mobile Internet yet. My son has Verizon 5G internet ($25/mo?) and has never had a problem.

That was the issue with our phones
