Brock Purdy: 13-16,174 Yards, TD, 49 Rush yards in 2nd half Sunday…..

Did the 49ers win it or did Lions lose it……
    I vote both.
    Lions 3rd quarter:
    • 4th-down drop by Josh Reynolds
    • Kindle Vildor dropped INT --> 51-yard completion Aiyuk
    • 3rd-down drop by Josh Reynolds
    • Lost fumble by Jahmyr Gibbs
    • Punt coverage botched by Chase Lucas
    49ers 2nd half possessions:
    • FG
    • TD
    • TD
    • FG
    • TD
    • Downs (end game)

I will be rooting for the 49’ers. Not the city that s**** on its sidewalks, but rooting for an incredible story of a humble young man, drafted as Mr. irrelevant just last year, a kid that spent his time off, on the bye week, on a farm helping harvest grain he said to clear his head.

I also like a head coach and GM that do it the hard way and don’t just buy big players. (Not that they don’t do FA but they don’t build the team that way.) Many of the better coaches in the league are associated with them.

I will be rooting against the KC Madison’s Avenue Swifties. Serious fatigue from all the Mahomes, Reid, and Kelce commercials. Sick of groupie announcing worshiping them. If I have to hear the over familiar unprofessional “Spags” nickname I will just puke.

Then add the Swift attention, I am unconvinced this is not a massive PR stunt from all sides, the biggest media sport and the biggest media star combine to grow their audiences. What could go wrong? Maybe irritating both audiences for one.

So I will root for the 49’ers to beat the oversaturated Chefs…

Other than the city the team is based on, what do you not like?
Well, I'm a Packers fan so I guess you could say I'm a little bit bitter towards them. Also, to be honest I really started to dislike them almost the same way I disliked New England (when Brady was there) when Kapernick was there and all the drama that surrounded him.

    Subject change....
I heard Mike Chappel on 93.5 while I was picking the kids up from school. He was asked about Irsay's current condition. His tenor and tone on the subject sounded like the start of a eulogy. Not good. He was on with Querry. The audio might be out there somewhere. It didn't sound good coming from Chappy. I guess an embarrassing stint in rehab would be better than final days of congestive heart failure. Irsay has some baffoonery in his mannerisms. But he's been a good steward of the team and a straight shooter about his personal struggles. Best wishes to him and his.

    Back to regular programming....
I'm glad the Ravens choked. I'm indifferent to the Super, er, big game winner. I'm sick of T. Swift! For that reason alone I'll cheer for Purdy and drink beer regardless.

Chap would know. He’s in deep with Jim.

That's exactly what he said. "I consider Jim Irsay a friend of mine. This is hard to talk about, 40 years we've been..." "I hope that when somthing is reported it's good news."

Maybe somebody can dig up the actual audio. He didn't divulge anything, but his speech pattern, pauses, man, it sounded sad. For me, I think the absolute radio silence is a significant indicator that Mr. Irsay isn't well, regardless of the why.

Skip ahead to hour two for those interested.

I'm going to root for a sinkhole to open up and swallow both teams. But then somebody's going to have to send me a message and tell me it happened because I'm not going to watch the game
Why not? You're a Lions fan, I figured you would handle the disappointment better than this. I mean it's almost like being a Colts fan some years

If I had to pick a team to root for I would probably pick the 49ers cuz I am sick and tired of the Chiefs, Mahomes, Kelce and that screeching harpy.
