    I saw a guy, Mexican – carrying a Smith & Wesson 500. I can check that off my list of things I’ve never seen before.

    He left without a holster…

    I received my discount card in the mail earlier this week. It says anyone that shows up Sunday wearing "Authentic Vintage 1800's Western or Military Costume" receives free admission. Hoping Kelly gives us the run down of what he sees Sunday.

    I’ve only been one time—last summer—and got what I was looking for.

    What’s the entry-level / budget-friendly AR inventory looking like this year? To be more specific, I’m looking for something in the $500-600 range that I can use as a base to slowly upgrade.

    I'll take a look around and post a price range in the AM.

    Thank you. I know sometimes the prices aren’t that great—counting on an impulse buy—but I’m holding out hope there could be something in my ballpark…even upper/lower.
    That is one of the good things about the 1500.

    So many vendors, there is bound to be at least one with what you're looking for.

    BTW, what time the gates open Saturday? 10 AM?

    I'd check out the PSA site and give them a once over. I've had several over the years and I often use the uppers as a cheap caliber conversion of I want to dabble in something new now and again and not break the bank. They have sales like everyone else, but they're consistently decent for the money. I don't know if the 1500 will have them present since they don't offer dealer discounts. You can get them for the same price the dealer would if you buy direct.

    Just to clarify since talk to text from my phone is hit and miss at best...

    I was referring to "Mexican-Carry" (no holster, carried in belt) of the S&W 500, not to anyone's ethnicity.

    Talk to text can be quite racist, text to spouse saying "Watch out for black ice"...

    "Antis" will be "Aunties" and evidentially that is a diss of some kind.

    OK, McDonalds for breakfast and off to the fairgrounds! Gotta remember to look at AR prices... although with talk to text it's hard telling what will be posted :lmfao:

    @MadMan66 should be there today.
