      M&P Newbie

I you are using it for carry, don't mess with trigger. I use M&P pro's (no safety), Glocks (no safety) for competition or for serious practice. Apex triggers for $ 99 gives you a 3 pound trigger pull, instead of a bad 5 1/2. I watch the videos and did it myself. Works great. Gun shoots...

Glock 17 Spring and connector upgrade Questions

I just bought my first Glock 34. I use it for competition, not for carry. Trigger kit (3.5 # pull), Tungsen guide rod, upgrade sites, 5 17 round magazines. Gun shoots great, but I would not use for carry. I been using HP38 powder, with 4.3 gr with Barry's plated rn bullets. Works great.

      Springfield XD 9mm

If you are looking to carry, Springfield, Smith & Wesson, Kimber, Sig are great guns. Pocket carry LC9, Shield 9mm are small and great shooters. For Steel, USPSA, IDPA great guns usually 5" barrels are Glock, Smith & Wesson, Springfield. They are reliable and always work. Good luck.

      Reloads for Carry Gun

I load thousands of reliable reloads, but never for a carry pistol. Too many lawsuits on ammo, triggers and modifications to stock gun. It's a field day for attorneys.

Glock with macko adapter for red dot.

Has any one tried a Macko adapter on a Glock with a red dot scope?

Need help. Shooting to the right and down.

You can pick up a bore sighter (about 30.00) and on a bench you can see where the barrel is pointing and where the sights are pointing. You should be able to adjust sights to match the bore. U tube has lots of videos on sighting in your pistol.

Picked up my first .45 ACP today !

I load my para ordinance 45 acp with the same powder charge as my 9mm's. It shoots great and feels like my 9mm. If for carry, shoot what you carry. If for practice (200 rounds) find someone with a reloader, it will save you a bunch (about .17 per round).

      Hello everybody!

9mm are very good for ladies. My daughter's husband has a 40 cal S&W shield. Kicks very bad. They are selling it.

      FS m&p 9 issues

Smith & Wesson still make M&P pro 5". They also make a CORE 4 1/2 & 5" that has a plate near the rear site and can be removed the red dot optics. I have fired 8,000 rounds through m&p's. Apex trigger is much better.

Where do you usually get Glock Magazine?

I have bought several items from the Glock store.com.

      Top Ten 9mm pistols

Most of the pistols would be fine for carry. For more active shooting, like steel challenge, USPSA, Glocks, M&P, Springfileld are kings.

      What is better? Glocks or....

If the gun is a carry gun, either will do. For weekly or monthly shoot, the glock is easier to modify and add accessories. Like 23 or 30 round magazines.
    15. B

Springfield XD or Smith and Wesson MP

Try to shoot both. Boy what feels good. Glock has more options for modifications. Mag, sights, triggers, optics.
