Kenny nails it in this video

So it is the fans fault they don’t like the current racing and the stands are empty even after some have been removed and major long term sponsors have left the sport. :lmfao:

It cannot possibly be the the fault of the sanctioning body, cookie cutter tracks, poorly spec’ed cars, and spoiled rich kid vanilla drivers…

Kenny hit the nail on the head here!
Couple of quotes from he made that stand out…. “The racing isn’t bad it BETTER”……”Misery loves company”

There is a lot of truth in his video. He said 2006 was the peak for nascar and they had something great going up until that time. 2004 started the chase for the cup and what I believe the start of the slide downhill. They wanted a march madness or superbowl hype ending and got just the opposite. Sometimes you just dont fix whats not broken.
So now you have, what Kenny said, heartbroken fans who were losing their favorite drivers and losing touch with a new racing system. A lot of those fans sit today hoping nascar fails because they went and messed something good up. Its human nature and I can say I was, am still slightly part of that crowd.
The good thing, like Kenny said, is time heals all things and I would like to see nascar get out of the lows and back to the highs.

True for the most part …. But you always have some who want to live in misery and want others to hold their hand while they jump off the cliff.

I am unhappy so you have to be too…

Honestly, even for an xfinity race, at bristol this would have been embarrassing 10 years ago.

The big wigs have to stop pretending everythings fine. Start changing the rules to somewhat resemble a motorsport again.
