Because the ads or advertisements are grouped into categories or classes such as "for sale—telephones", "wanted—kitchen appliances", and "services—plumbing", so they're 'classified'.

So not because they are eyes only type thing, but because they are classed in categories.

Im slowly moving out of the region. Grew up gary- lake station, moved to portage, then Valpo. I at least see corn here! next move is out of emmsion territory

My wife is from Wanatah. I rescued her and brought her down south a little over 32 years ago. We were married in her Lutheran church just south of town a few miles.
