"In 48 hours, when you don't eat and only sleep, I dropped 3.4 lbs. I haven't seen this weight since high school. I am feeling better though."

Down another 1.2 lbs, but turned the corner.

Spoiler Alert on this round of flu:
All 3 of us had it with almost identical symptoms.
Day 1-2: achey all over back pains, lethargic, runny nose, trade sleep for eat
Day 3: runny nose, less lethargic, hacking up aliens, appetite returning, body starts flushing the system: loose :poop: (not terrible, but I wouldn't want to be on the road).
Day 4: runny nose, not lethargic, far less hacking up aliens, more flushing the system (again, not terrible, but I wouldn't want to be on the road). Tons more energy. Appetite returned.

We all 3 had the same experience within hours of 1st onset (highly contagious) except for the wife, who is in day 3 and had a 1/2 day migraine.

As far as the flu goes from previous experience, this was not that bad.
I feel bad for all of you. My mom was a teacher and would bring home every sickness known to man that my brother and I didn't already bring home. That woman had the immune system of superman or maybe wolverine. I can only remember her taking 2 sick days due to actually being sick. She would get the sniffles for a day or two and then be right as rain.

One of a few jobs I can think of where a good immune system is extremely valuable. I'm rarely knock down sick, but when it happens, TKO!

Cancelled my trip to Purdue tonight. 80 mile drive, we are in the 3" to 5" area, but even Purdue is supposed to get 2-3". So an 80 mile drive on rural highways (US41/SR52) with farm fields blowing snow onto the roadway doesn't seem too prudent. Especially since tonights practice ends at MIDNIGHT. Its 90 minutes home in good conditions, but at 1am I don't want to be on the side of the road in blowing and drifting trying to walk to Fowler or Kentland looking for a place to stay warm.

Got my results back already. Lumbar MRI showed bulging disks and degenerative arthritis. Brain MRI did not look bad, but an incidental finding was that my carotids are "tortuous" and aneurysm cannot be excluded without further testing. Tomorrow when I get my cervical and thoracic MRI's, they will also do an MRA (magnetic resonance angiogram) of my carotids.

Glad you are getting answers, but hoping results are more positive.

Maybe @jedi will drive you. This is just an annoyance to him, still not "feets & feets", he should be able to get you there in his sleigh pulled by 8 racoons.
