I can't imagine how much that hurts!
    I can not.
I have had a couple of dogs who knew how that feels. $300 to $400 vet bills to show for it. NO2 is very expensive if dispensed to your beloved companion by a person with some sort of degree shingle on the wall.

Not so bad if you just want to knock a bit off your ET. I have heard they are now chasing the racers and raising costs of goods.

Another wonderful dog with the slightest touch once. I pulled all those quills out myself. Might have been twenty or so quills to the face.
I just knew my dog would hate me for a while after doing that (hold his body down, keep his face still, harshly) to him, but no. After a short while he came up and wanted to snuggle, free of porcupine quills in his face.

I have taken two porcupines out in the distant past, but somewhat regret all that as time moves on.
I just can not justify old habits of killing wildlife for our own convenience.

Now for mosquitoes or rattlesnakes ... No Quarter!! No Mercy! No second chance!
