That is gross weight. Do you have 1500 pds of in your van? Curb weight is closer to what you should be lifting.

I imagine they are going with the lowest common denominator, but it never hurts to have more capacity.

Again though, unless you plan on sitting in the van with it loaded full of stuff, the curb weight is closer to what you would be lifting.

Thank goodness that was your introduction thread since then you’ve grown older and wiser and realized they would have to give something up for it to be a compromise.

Looks like a neat idea.
Don't have an air compressor and no desire to get one at this point. Not in the budget and feel more comfortable using a floor hydraulic jack to lift the van to put on jack stands.

Ideal would like something like this...

Or even better a pit!

For the praying type please send some prayers for my Niece, Hailee.

They had to perform a c section on her today. Baby weighs 1lb 15oz. He's breathing on his own but definitely has a battle ahead of him.
