That's like SR 446 from Bloomington to Lake Monroe. Hilly and winding, and lots of RVs, trucks pulling trailers, dump trucks, etc. on that road, yet the cyclists still use it.I live on a hilly, curvy, narrow country-ish road. And it doesn't really have any berm. You got road. And then you got ditch. So for bicycles there really isn't anywhere to pull off or to swerve in an emergency.
So. The wannabe Tour De France groups really really likes to cycle on my road because steep hills and curves and countryside are challenging and interesting. They're putting their lives at risk, seriously.
People drive their HD trucks pulling heavy trailers speeding up and down that road every day, and they don't really bother to think about what lane they're currently occupying or what lane you're currently occupying. I've been in so many close calls in a motor-vehicle on this road, it's ridiculous. Cyclists have every right to cycle this road, even in packs. But someone's gonna get killed. They're ****ing crazy for cycling that road for fun.
