    If you're a coward, and you suffer, then I don't care.

    If you take a job to respond to emergencies, and you're a coward, then I care.
    I don’t like the outcome either, but based on SCOTUS, as reprehensible as he is, he did nothing illegal.

    That’s one of the later cases. I looked up a bunch of them one time and found about 19, if I recall correctly, that all basically say cops have no duty to protect an individual.
