Unfortunately, It appears to have been broken for a while. Seems things are spiraling downward.
Some people are cowards.
The should NOT be any type of first responder
The only first responder in a situation one is involved in is one's self.
Folks seem to have forgotten this.
Every other responder is secondary.
I'm talking about people PAID to respond.
If you're a coward, and you suffer, then I don't care.
If you take a job to respond to emergencies, and you're a coward, then I care.
No matter how much you are plundered, you cannot buy courage.

That guy is a disgrace to law enforcement, a coward, and I hope the guilt of his doing nothing that day haunt him for the rest of his days.

That’s one of the later cases. I looked up a bunch of them one time and found about 19, if I recall correctly, that all basically say cops have no duty to protect an individual.Easy to google if you are tech savy…
