Anybody bought a gun in 2023?

Got an AR-10 lower, and a BCA 243 upper. That thing shoots great. No regrets on the BCA. I read mixed reviews on them and thought for $320 worth a try. It's a keeper

May I ask what lower you got with it? Was it a BCA lower or some other brand? Reason I ask is because I've heard that AR-10's can be finicky if you try to run a different brand of lower and upper together, and I was curious what combo worked out for you.

I have a lower built up now that I picked up a couple weeks ago. Still gathering parts for the completing the upper when I get it. I am leaning toward a BCA upper in 12.7x42/.50 Beowulf. $269 for the complete upper that has way more positive reviews than negatives. The negatives are mostly magazine related though.

Bought a blem psa lower, the trigger in it was 7.9# awful. Replaced the trigger with a cmc drop in. Fit and function are good.

Saw an ad from Davidsons for a 10/22 with a leopard skin printed stock. Went into Carson Arms in Terre Haute to ask about it and they happened to have one in the rack. Checked the price, filled out the form. My granddaughter will turn 12 later this month, by then it will have a BX trigger and a red dot.

How do you like the Golden Tiger 545?

It's great ammo, I've had it before. It's Russian and has not been imported for a few years.
Bought it from Gunbroker, he had advertised it on the AK files. I called his store he sold it to me for $450 per case shipped, no sales tax collected.
I felt like that was a pretty good deal in today's market.

I got it for the wife. She has a mark iv I tricked out but she wanted the blue version. They were unobtainable then. So when this popped up for sale/trade I made a deal and did the upgrades I had done to the mark iv. It's a range toy
