Personally I have no problem with this.
The Mexican government can't even fight these cartels very well.
Cartels are a clear and present danger.

Fentanyl is the leading killer of adults ages 18-45. Last year, opioids killed an estimated 80,816 Americans. 10% of the significant drop in U.S. life expectancy, now at its lowest point in over two decades, is attributable to such overdoses.

How unlimited do you want to make the war on drugs? I know my knowledge of surveilance of illegal border crossings is dated. When I did know, every breech was monitored but not all were responded to. Would you be willing to authorize teeth? (Unlimited use of deady force to eliminate every breech) It would be more effective than any wall. Attempts to sneak accross the border would cease and the cages could be emptied. The first month would require some work, but the load would be light the second month.

I have wondered if it's time for another Punitive Expedition. Not sure we have another Lt George S. Patton.
I've wondered the same for some time now. And all Lt. Patton used was a .45 Colt Artillery M1873 Single Action Army . . . until his first firefight . . . after which he bought a second M1873 to carry (which he subsequently gave away and replaced with a .357 Registered Magnum). He was Pershing's HQ Company Commander.

Not the borders, the villas where the leadership live. Start by dropping Tomahawks on any that are in isolated areas. Then you can move on to the ones that are in cities.

Fentanyl, and other drugs, are being distributed as chemical weapons to kill our military age citizens. A clear and present danger to the Republic.

This should have been done decades ago.

I have ZERO problem terminating any military age citizens of another nation attempting to unlawfully breach our border. I also have no problem handing them a surplus rifle and one mag, and telling them to take their country back if they don't like the way it's being governed. Just don't turn back toward the US.

I would bet Mexico would stop them dead at their southern border the first day that policy went into effect.
