There used to be plans to make a wall clock that looked like a wrist watch, and I made one from Claro Walnut.
It looked just like that, minus the face.

Edit: This is the only thing I found, but the one I made, had the flex band on it.

Sadly the winds killed the string led xmass tree. Looks like one of the strings snaps with the wind and last night only thr red LED worked on it. So it was a 1/2 red tree. Today the entire thing is dead. Either thr red lights burned out or the wind took care of the rest unsure. $40 down the toilet.

jedi brought the 2 inflatables inside. No reason for the wind to claim those as well. Tomorrow the rest of the lights wil come down.

Sucks about the loss of lights.

Credit card machine quit working today. Called the bank and run diagnostics. Nothing on their end. Call Frontier. They do an automated system reboot. Lose all wifi and phones. On hold for 30 minutes. Get disconnected. Call back. Try a reboot again. Nothing. Schedule a tech between 1 and 5pm. Will get a call and text 1/2 hour before they arrive. Nothing. Just get a text that sorry but couldn't make it. Rescheduled for 1/9. How the **** am I suppose to run a buisness with no phones or credit card machine for 2 weeks.

Ugh. I need a vacation

I give discounts for paying in cash. Unfortunately most in this area don't have $3-7k in their bank accounts and have to use credit

Heck you can NOT go into most banks and pull $4k+ in cash without the bank having issues or telling you to come back in a few days.

In company rants let's say FedEx sucks!
Or maybe it was Harbor Frieght.

Ordered a 25 inch breaker bar and hammer for dad.

Fedex drops off a long box but the image of the delivery is of a long box, not the one they delivered, and the background was not at dad house but a blue room? Wall was blue.

In the long box was just the hammer.

Open a claim with FedEx. They are looking into it but say it's HF issue.

HF (the store) can not help as it's an online order must email the website.

So now it's a waiting game.

I asked my credit union for $9K last week and the teller got snotty. In a couple minutes she did come up with the cash but told me I am supposed to call a week ahead for anything over $5K.
Part of the problem was the teller I got is snotty whenever she gets a chance so I don't know what the others would have said.

Shouldn't be a big deal - they could always just raid a few safe deposit boxes and come up with lots of cash - some people just don't trust their mattresses.

Most of the satellite branches around here do NOT have that level of cash on them.

Some of the larger banks in the major cities may like chase in downtown chicgao where they also have their international counters for other currencies.
