Maybe there is hope for this country if someone is willing to shut down a drag queen show for "all ages."

Not shedding any tears over pedophiles winning a stupid prize from society.
What of the random adults where were there at midnight on a Saturday enjoying regular adult activities?

I mean that place on the Monon hosted a disgusting "all ages sex ed summer camp" earlier this year, but I don't think that means somebody should be busting a 5.56 in my ass if I stop there at the end of a bike ride to get a beer.

Was the place on the Monon a gay bar? Personally, I wouldn't go into a gay bar.

Nor would I patronize anyplace that hosted such an event, gay bar or not.

No, it's a restaurant/brewery type place. Which honestly made it even all the more baffling.

I'd personally just stay away from any places that invite patronage of pedophiles, but that's me.

Cannot find much about the suspect, but of course people are already labeling the shooting as a hate crime. Also, the shooter used a "long rifle". So what, like a musket?

So I’m guessing in your mind anyone gay is a pedophile?
Can't speak for Tombs, but no, not all gays are pedophiles. But they do seem to ally themselves with pedophiles quite often (hence the trans/gay/story hours for kids). Maybe they should remove the "+" from LGBTQ+. That kind of opens the door for anyone that wants to ally with them.

While jumping through the channels I heard ABC news saying he used an “AR-15 style rifle “.

Another favorite phrase is “assault style rifle.”

Give it time. They can't rewrite his social media posts and cook up a few maga websites overnight. It takes time to tailor a narrative.

As usual, whenever we start seeing headway on 2A rights, along comes some nut job and shoots up a bunch of people. Never fails.
Read he threatened to blow his mom‘s house up a year ago. So another one that should have been on the radar, but left to do harm so the left can have another rally point.

INGO: Guy was on the radar, they should have done something.

Also INGO: PRE-CRIME IS NOT A CRIME

    Pick a lane.

I don't think anyone is saying arrest him for a pre-crime.

More like, with those vast capabilities our tax dollars paid for, be ready for him when he plans an attack.

At this point if I was the FBI, I would not have the gall to admit he was being monitored, unless I had made a demonstrable effort to intercept him in the process.

Hell, for all the rights we had taken away to allow all of this surveillance, we should at least have something positive to show for it.

Sure. Because there's definitely enough manpower to constantly surveil every potential threat out there.

This is barstool thinking. "IF I WAS IN CHARGE I'D..." with zero idea of the reality of the situation or the constraints in place.

Then why do we need to put up with the loss of rights and all of this surveillance?
