Their opening salvo was that anyone who didn't agree 100% with the whole trans-ideology hook line and sinker, was guilty of "bronze age thinking"... I didn't read further, nor apparently needed to. That writing was on the wall... not quite calling a moderator a moron, but pretty obvious where it would lead.

So, as other's have said or implied, bashing other members or other's opinions while advocating an unpopular point of view will get you shootered.

Meanwhile, bashing other members or other's opinions while advocating a popular-on-INGO point of view... well, that's a currently unsolved problem, IMO, but also above my pay grade.

Feelings of possession through familiarity are easy to form.

I wouldn't let a new neighbor come into my house and insult my furnishings without feeling a little butt-hurt about it. Likewise, an old friend or relative might walk in and tell me my house smells like an outhouse and the furniture looks like it was retrieved from the dump and I would tell them they're going to have to take a seat if they want a beer.

INGO is (was) a community before it was gunlisting site. People from outside the community aren't necessarily welcome to just pop in and s**t all over everything and established members. Honestly, I don't know why that is a problem.
