Police Chief says, G.S. was tactically proficient, engaged subject at long distance, motioned for people to exit behind him as he closed with subject.

G.S. was detained and questioned at Greenwood PD, statements were confirmed by video. Turned himself into mall security.

All politics aside, how do you identify a guy like this as potential trouble? According to the chief his trouble as a juvenile was very minor.

I'm on a conference call and can't listen to the news conference. What are they saying about a motive? People snap and maybe that was what happened here, but there also could be history of behavior at school and things like that, not necessarily rising to the level of law enforcement attention.

Bad guy fired 23 rounds....good guy fired 10 rounds from his Glock and dropped him before shooter could retreat back into the bathroom, he had came out of bathroom and began shooting after spending a hour in the food place.

No driver's license for 20 year old should draw some questions?

Maybe, maybe not. Might have had no need for a car and thus no reason to need a license. My niece didn't get her license until she was 23 as she felt she didn't need it. The few times she couldn't get a ride with a parent, sibling, friend or such, she used Uber.

The difference is your niece doesn't have a penis. And she didn't shoot up the mall.
