I just heard on the news - a "high powered" rifle.
Aren't they all?

Once again, their system failed and they still blame the gun.Yep, first incident was handled by mental health individuals (hipa) and second no one in the family wanted to make a report or press charges. Nothing for police to take action on. (family). In 2019 no FOID nothing to act on.
Exactly what I told my wife when I heard that!Aren't they all?
I'm sure he had a valid reason to be out and about. Maybe he was there to apply for a job.Just came from the tire shop, while waiting, in walks a crackhead looking dude, cut off jeans, ragged t shirt complete with ankle monitor. Don’t understand the point of the monitor if the grease ball can be out in public whenever wherever he wants to be.
I saw the interview with the uncle. He seemed a little off as well.Yet his uncle said there were no signs the guy was a nut job!
I think the uncle was just oblivious. He said that their relationship basically consisted of saying hello and goodbye when they saw each other.I saw the interview with the uncle. He seemed a little off as well.
Is every nutjob a mass murderer? I've known lots of nutjobs, never met a mass murderer.Yet his uncle said there were no signs the guy was a nut job!

Still waiting to find out what "high powered rifle" was used that was legally purchased by a 22 year old. Highland Park mayor keeps calling it weapon of war or something like that which unfortunately for the uninformed mayor, an AR-15 was never a weapon of war or military weapon.
Nothing about the criminal who used the weapon, just ban the weapon from honest people.
And so thankful that the criminal was such a bad shot. They say that he fired over 70 rounds
How fortunate a "gun shot expert" just happened to be handy.CBS news just had a doctor on, that said the injuries were all “military grade injuries, and not like the normal gun shot wounds you see”. CBS news also said that the weapon used “was similar to an AR15”. So, is ANY .223 weapon, or magazine fed weapon going to be ”similar” to an AR15? It is either an AR15 or it is not an AR15.

I think it's a square/rectangle kind of thing. All squares are rectangles, but not all rectangles are squares.Did I say every nut job is a mass murderer?
Cheap AKs? Where are these cheap AKs of which you speak??Given his Antifa leanings, I'm thinking AK. Because thats what the cool Commies shoot.
And I may be wrong, but I have heard cheap AKs arent that accurate at distance. Which could also account for his low hit count. Plus being a loser, I bet if he ever took that thing to the range, it was only ever an Indoor range and he probably never ran the target out beyond 15-20 feet. And of course training is for loser. Anyone can shoot one of these things, right?
I bet it was an AK15.
