Just an opinion here. A crazy EO would be challenged by lawsuits which could tie up any possible legislation for years and hopefully by then the nuts are long gone from congress and the White House.

Like I said just an opinion maybe one of you law guys could chime in with an opinion on this.
Why do you think EO's and lawsuits against them would tie up legislation?

I look at the future. I want my children's children's children etc to be able to own whatever weapon to protect themselves and keep themselves free. Just cause I got mine doesn't mean I don't want generations down the line to have theirs either.

Schumer was just on TV (speaking about the student loan thing, not gun control) saying, "Legislation isn't needed. It just takes the stroke of a pen to get this done."

And therein we have the bad side of this. The EO is being used outside its original intent and no one is moving to curtail its use good or bad.

And those are the reasons we have $5 a gallon gas prices. He put us back on offshore oil dependence as soon as he could. What does that tell you? Who bought the presidency?

They wipe their butts with the shreds daily and glare at us while doing it yet we keep those same POS in office. This is on us people. Its on us.
Some of us have tried... Some others (here included) voted for this. Those people are strangely absent now. I hope they're lying in their basements in a fetal position regretting their decision, but I doubt they are. They're just too cowardly to defend their decisions.

And again, my opinion. For example, if he signed an EO banning AR15 and AK style rifles and lawsuits started that would probably wind up at the Supreme Court. During this time if legislation were to come up I can see the Reps and Senators against the ban holding things up until a decision from the court comes. Also during this time period couple election periods would come up as well.

I already have one with hi cap mags and reload 223, so if they ban them I don`t care, plus I see so many out there for sale on line and at gun shows, how could banning them have any effect?
If they would ban them and grandfather in the existing ones, the price of the privately held ones would go up in price a lot to where normal people couldn't afford to buy one.

This happened back in 1986 with NFA firearms when the law was passed that anything made after 1986 couldn't be legally owned by civilians.
I remember back in the day before the 1986 law, even over priced Don's Guns sold new full auto Thompson sub-machine guns for $750.

I have a delusional cousin who tries to blame Indiana Republicans for high gas prices. He says all they have to do is eliminate the tax. I just ask him if that will bring it back below $2, he never answers.

Some people are just beyond help.
