    "extended"?

I assumed so-called "high cap mags" where illegal in NY?
Don't they have have a ridiculous 10rds limit or something?
If that's the case it just shows that their silly laws don't prevent crime (shocking!).
People in NY can't have those mags and can't even carry guns legally.

I can't believe it's yet another crime in a gun free zone where criminals forgot to follow the law.

It's sad but it will keep happening until there's no more "gun free zones" in the US.
IIRC, NY state has a 7 rd max capacity.

Are the "undetonated devices" something other than the smoke that was popped on the Subway?
It can be anything, technically any device is "undetonated" until the bomb squad shows up and decides to detonate it just for fun. :dunno:

A microwave oven is an "undetonated device" until you throw a hand grenade inside.

My laptop is currently an undetonated device.

Have you considered working for FoxNews or CNN? That's the kind of analysis they value.

    lol :ugh:

How am I not surprised it's even stupider than what I expected. :wallbash:

So somehow the stupid people who made this law think it's still ok to shoot 7 innocent people, but 10 would have been too much.
So they needed a lower limit than some states, where they have a stupid 10 rds limit in place.

Why don't they go with 1 round, or zero?
Surely in their mind it would save more lives, assuming we find a criminal willing to follow gun laws while breaking the law (i.e. murdering his fellow citizens).

Is is based on some stupid studies showing that you only need 7 rounds to stop a threat?
Is it's the case do police officers in NY carry also only 7 rounds?

Magazine size limited to 10 rounds. Law enforcement and retired law enforcement with last service weapon only, are exempt from the 10 round limit

Well no **** ... of course the law doesn't apply to cops.

Apparently you need to load your ten rounds mag with only 7 rounds in NY.
    This is madness.

I can legally own a handgun with 30 rounds mags in France.
I sadly have more freedom than millions of Americans stuck in non-free states.

They seem to be back and forth on a lot of info. Nature of the beast

According to the radio report that I just heard, the police recovered a jammed pistol in the station.

Maybe they'll find it with the white van the DC snipers used.

    Yeah, I remember.

To give it it's due though, I'd rather have even bad info that's going around early in the reporting. As opposed to having MSM regulating what goes out any more than what they do.

We have became accustomed to understanding that early info will likely change.

I don't disagree. While I don't think it's ever a positive thing to report second and third had speculation, the more pressing concern is just what you identified. Not understanding that initial reports are often wholly inaccurate.

    That was quick

Investigators believe they know who he is, having identified the suspect after finding a credit card at the scene that was also used to rent the U-Haul cargo van, two law enforcement sources told CNN.

A federal law enforcement source told Newsweekthe suspect was the previously known to the FBI, having been entered into the Guardian Lead system in New Mexico.

The system is the FBI's way of coordinating information from other law enforcement partners about potential terrorism-related threats and suspicious activity reports.
He was cleared after multiple interviews in 2019.

Wait a minute..... are not guns prohibited on the subway?

Maybe that only applies to law abiding citizens rendering them easy prey for thugs.

I’m actually amazed with the southern border a total sieve that AQ or ISIS hasn’t gotten a bomb maker in here who knows what they are doing.

Give it time. I submit it is part of the game plan in order to further rape Liberty for the sake of false safety.

The central state has lost its way.

Ok let's see... moderator... control panel... tools... edit... delete... warn... ban user... detonate user's device... detonate iPhone... detonate Android... detonate tablet, Windows... detonate tablet, Mac... detonate Smart Watch and make it look like the Smart TV did it... detonate Smart TV and make it look like the thermostat conspired with the refrigerator... detonate UNIVAC mainframe using punched-cards... this could be a while.
