People should go look at commercials from the early to mid 90s for fast food prices.

It helps give context for just how much we've been living in fantasy land of everything being kept artificially low. It's going to seriously hurt.

Oil could be kept fairly low with enough effort put into extraction, but in general, the cost of goods has been far lower than inflation suggests it should be.

There are absolutely no facts to support anything of the sort.

It's obvious to anyone the only way to survive inflation is to have wealth outside of anything pegged to the value of the dollar. If your only asset is food, clothing, shelter, and a government dole, incorrectly computed for inflation, you are feeling the squeeze first and hardest.
