After hearing about INGO from co-workers I decided I must check this place out. I left Indiana in 2002 to join the Marine Corp to work on Harriers out in NC, two deployments with those guys to Iraq, some time in Aerospace out in Los Angeles and now I’m back in Indiana. I have daughters and a wife that I’d like to get more involved in shooting, everything from 22’s, handguns, rifles, hunting and military styles in larger calibers. I am already feeling at home with so many of these threads!

Welcome to the forum, from another Veteran.

Looks like there's gonna be a "meet & eat" in your area.
Great way to meet people that you may interact with.

Oh, and INGO has a BUTTLOAD of vets.
So please don't be the guy that starts yelling that "his DD-214 means that...".
Service is appreciated by many. But I can count enough 214's to fill one hand, just in my immediate family, expanded to beyond immediate and I don't have enough fingers and toes.

Not trying to be a "downer", but oh my god I've seen it so many times, resulting in someone storming off butthurt.

This would be a perfect opportunity to meetup and network with existing members in your area. It opens up a whole new in person interaction with the people behind the screen. A number of members have gained solid lasting friendships through these meetups.

    Welcome aboard.

Do you specialize in a particular area of veterinary medicine or are you a general practitioner?

I’ve been told it would be good for the introduction but I’m a POG and don’t claim to know what I don’t know. Besides finding commonality with others I don’t intend to make it the topic of any discussions especially as I’ve become more interested in firearms since leaving. Like I said, I was not infantry and used more wrenches than weapons while in the MC.

We’re all lost because of him. See my previous post in this thread for more details :)
