Group A: peacefully demonstrating for a return of rights taken away without due process.

Group B: demonstrations escalating into arson, property damage, theft, and murder. Documented cases of attempted extortion on local businesses. Demands are ephemeral, pie in the sky with no real “win” condition other than: “you bend the knee and pay me.”

Yes, I am such a hypocrite for supporting the actions of one group over another. And if you need purple for that, you’ve got a cranium denser than lead.
Nobody said anything about any particular group. The blocking of highways was all that was mentioned.

You do nothing but illustrate my point. Protestors who were simply blocking highways were met with calls to run them over. Ostensibly because "freedom of movement," but obviously because of the ideology behind the protests.

You either believe that protestors have a right to shut down freedom of movement and commerce, or you don't.

Except, Group A is blockading thoroughfares and causing economic damage which might ultimately be greater than the losses by arson from the BLM protests. (and there may have been arson in this present protest....under investigation at present with no identification of culprits at this point).
You need to crawl back into your safe place. Let the men talk.

Those same protestors were also attacking people in vehicles and not allowing access for ambulances.

    Context is everything.

That’s true. Many people did call for people just running over those BLM protesters. And that’s certainly an emotional response to BLM blocking streets. What’s also true, many people who were caught in the middle of it were drug out of their cars, beaten, and even shot.

Regardless, ignoring which cause is which, it’s easier not to have an emotional response when the people blocking the streets are not violent. I don’t like what the Truckers are doing. But I’m a lot less likely to have a knee jerk emotional response to them than I am people who violently drag people out of their cars and harm them.
