Now to search for some re-sleep. I know it is close by. Just have to find it...

Morning folks!

I just came back in from taking the dog out. Great shooting weather out there. It’s 19 here in the quiet hamlet of Greenwood. At least, it’s pretty quiet out there right now.

Too bad I have to work today. Otherwise, it’d be a great day to head to the range with a Mosin or to shoot the M1 Carbine a bit more. Both of those seem like they’ve known cold weather before. The Mosin is Finnish marked. I like it imagine that the IBM spent the winter of ‘44 work through the forests in Europe.

That sounds nice. But I'm not enjoying cold weather like I used to, so this year I'm asking my wife for a heated jacket for winter.

My wife and daughter both have heated vests and love them, but I'm not a vest kinda guy.

How do you like their enhanced uppers/hand guard? Also, have you seen the Faxon integrated muzzle device barrels? https://faxonfirearms.com/rifle-barrels/integral-muzzle-device/
Would only make sense if not wanting to swap for another muzzle device, but an interesting concept (especially since I originally hail from a state with restrictions)
