That's not the goal. Same as the dems trying to legalize pot here. Not gonna happen...

    ...soon.

Dems are really really good at the long game though. Just look at the insanely crazy crap that they were talking just a few years ago that is now the norm. They use their media to normalize stuff and miraculously, years later a whole generation of youth thinks it's viable.

Not going to bring his kid back

Wouldn't have stopped the shooter who killed her, the system was trying hard to cover up any record of criminality

Almost certainly wouldn't stop the next shooter, just increase the aggravation for the law abiding - which is really the whole point for these morons

Just like that stupid law requiring auto inspections because some kid and her family didnt think it was a problem she could smell exhaust in the cabin and died because of CO poisoning. Its stupid. If you smell exhaust, it's dangerous to drive.

Or am I way off base? Is it possible to have an automotive carbon monoxide leak without smelling the painfully obvious exhaust smell? Yes, CO is odorless, but there is no mistaking the smells (sometimes literally eye watering) that come along with it.

This is indeed pretty standard for Democrats in this country, but the trend where gun laws are concerned has been the opposite. What you are complaining about is the same thing that is happening with constitutional carry in this country.

From the link to the bill..
"“The problem: There’s no requirement for a background check on ammunition sales. So you can be someone who just stole a gun, illegally got your gun from some kind of trafficking or were in possession of it and you are intending a crime. You can walk into any store and buy the bullets and nobody is going to check."

Someone can also also take a SUV to any gas station and buy fuel without a background check. Then proceed to run over dozens and kill 6.
